Although at times it may seem that your Dad was born on another planet and his stare could literally burn through metal, the honest truth is that the only super powers he possesses are the strength to swing you around the room and burn your dinner.

However, as a Dad he also becomes empowered with the ability to scare off creepy crawlies and to magically make sweets appear when Mum isn’t looking. And while these powers don’t grab the headlines in the same way as flying, they too deserve to be honoured, with an acrylic Superdad plaque.
